Season 1, Episode Double O Seven
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept it
I’ve heard it said “Be the person your dog thinks you are.” Well, I say take it beyond just that and be the person no one sees that you are.
Today we talk about how small and hidden positive actions are practice for when the bigger actions are required. Remember, we can only rise to our level of preparedness!

Proverb
A good man takes care of the needs of his pets while even the kindest acts of a wicked man are still cruel.
Practice Small Things
our mission is to practice. In other words, practice, in private, small things to accomplish large things in public.
What We Should Be Doing
The things that are important are the things that really we know we should be doing.
Do something small, that no one else sees, that improves the world just a little bit.
Character
our character is far more important than your actions.
Level of Preparedness
ou will not rise to the occasion, you will only rise to your level of preparedness.
Make it your preparedness to always be doing these things, so much so, that you’re just in the habit. You don’t even think about it. You just serve. Not for anything for yourself, just for the sake of serving.
Doing Good Things
ometimes you can do good things, and things you might even be thanked for, but you’re doing them for the wrong reasons. If you do them for the wrong reasons, usually they’ll come back. What seemed like it would be a good thing might end up being an apology later.
our mission, is to practice being a better person when no one is looking, for the right reasons.
ou want to be so essentially secretive about the good things you’re doing, that you’re not even able to get praised for it.
Do the things that nobody would think to thank you for.
Be Thankful
e thankful for someone using their turn signal, or for opening a door for someone else. Here’s the thing. Be thankful for that when they’re not doing it for you. Be thankful when someone else is using the turn signal for someone else’s benefit, be thankful when someone else is opening a door for the person in front of you.
Perfect
Perfect is the enemy of done.
